At Becoming Unbroken, I’m committed to creating a safe, supportive, and accessible space for everyone — including individuals with disabilities.

My Commitment

I want everyone who visits this blog to feel welcome and be able to engage with the content, no matter their ability, background, or the device they’re using.

I aim to follow the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, which explain how to make web content more accessible for people with a wide range of disabilities, including:

  • Visual impairments

  • Hearing impairments

  • Cognitive limitations

  • Motor challenges

What I’ve Done

I’ve taken steps to improve accessibility on this site, including:

  • Using readable fonts with high contrast

  • Ensuring headings and page structure are clear and navigable

  • Making images meaningful and using alt text where appropriate

  • Avoiding flashing or distracting visuals

  • Designing a responsive layout that works across screen sizes

Limitations

As a solo creator, I’m always learning and improving. While I do my best, some areas of the site may still present accessibility challenges. I welcome your feedback so I can make it better.
